DevOps/SRE who ships zero-drama, zero-downtime change at scale.
I’m a Puerto Rican engineer who loves turning ambiguous infrastructure problems into stable, secure, and observable systems. Across seven years at Taskrabbit, I grew from Junior to Senior DevOps Engineer and kept a high-throughput marketplace running smoothly—even through an acquisition.
Impact highlights: zero-incident AWS org migration (Dolly → Taskrabbit), Kubernetes KTLO ownership, Ubuntu 22.04 fleet upgrades with no downtime, Okta↔GitHub identity hardening, and pre-prod/staging improvements that helped teams ship faster with fewer surprises.
Toolbox: AWS • Kubernetes/EKS • Terraform • GitHub Actions/Jenkins • Docker • Prometheus/Grafana • Linux • Okta/OIDC • MySQL/Aurora.
How I work: calm engineering—clear runbooks, fewer pages, strong ownership. I mentor early-career engineers, document what I learn, and leave systems (and teams) better than I found them. I’m a frequent flyer between Puerto Rico and California, so I value flexibility and collaborate comfortably across EST↔PST.
After an incredible seven-year run, I was part of a layoff at Taskrabbit. I’m grateful for the people and the trust—and I’m excited for what’s ahead. As Romans 8:28 reminds me, “all things work together for good.” I’m looking for my next opportunity to build, automate, and scale systems that make a real difference.
I’ll continue to be Strong, Fierce, Bold, and Kind, as a mentor taught me—and I’ll keep making everything around me better.
If you know of DevOps / SRE / Cloud Platform roles (AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, etc.), I’d love to connect.
